You will begin immediate hands-on training in water treatment, distribution and wastewater treatment - acquiring a SWRCB Operator-In-Training License ASAP.
You will work at many locations and facilities, learning all levels of field operations, including ground-up construction, operations, troubleshooting control panels, piping and electrical, and SCADA Systems.
You will work on private and government jobs.
In addition, you will learn the practical and scientific processes involved in successfully operating and maintaining the following:
Drinking Water Iron & Manganese Removal Arsenic Removal Slow Sand Filtration Conventional Surface Water Treatment Corrosion Control Distribution System Operation & Maintenance Ground-Up plant design & installation Industrial Automation Installation & Trouble Shooting Wastewater Treatment Pond Systems Traditional Activated Sludge Sequencing Batch Reactors Membrane BioReactors Importance of Nitrification, Denitrification & Microscopy Industrial Automation Installation & Trouble Shooting Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Learns to perform the various tasks associated with the maintenance and operation of a water treatment, water distribution and wastewater systems Learns the proper use of tools and equipment required to perform the job.
Under direction, participates in the installation, repairs and replacement of water mains, water services, valves, fire hydrants and water meters Under direction, participates in the routine inspection of water treatment, water distribution and wastewater treatment facilities Interacts with customers and act as a representative of the Company Performs required sample collection(s) according to established standard operating procedures Performs meter reads & customer shut-offs Performs collection activities of delinquent accounts Participates in routine maintenance activities such as system flushing, valve exercising and fire hydrant maintenance Under direction, follows established policies and procedures in repair of equipment to ensure proper working order Operates and maintains company vehicles and equipment according to established safety procedures and policies Performs other duties as assigned Available for emergency response, 24 hours/day, seven days/week Works under immediate supervision Minimum Position
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Good communication skills General PC skills Valid California driver's license Must obtain a SWRCB Grade 1 Water Distribution Certification within 12 months of employment start date.
Must obtain a SWRCB Grade 1 Water Treatment Certification within 18 months of employment start date Must obtain a SWRCB Grade 1 Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification within 2 years of employment start date Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
